Hermès has done some interesting collaborations in the last few years. They've produced some incredible pieces and shined an abundance of light on collaborations with different companies and artists from across the globe (because the ones they chose didn't already have enough of that bright spotlight..) including Vans, Art Basel, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Daniel Buren, Josef Albers, Yohji Yamamoto, Liberty, Yamaha, and of course that big magnificent bitch of a fruit that constantly sucks us dry with their new goodies at incredible prices, Apple.
We're not hating though.. do your thing Hermes.. They're all the way up on the fashion food chain and there's reasoning behind it but when you start tip toeing in our hood, we want to do nothing more than wipe our sweaty balls with those fancy scarves of yours.
Their latest video has two models cruising the bowl at the Hermes skatepark (?!) rocking the upcoming collection of scarves in their hair, around their neck, in their hands, etc.. logical. At least they didn’t go out and shoot Bufoni but rather found two fresh girls that have smooth style on a board.
On the flip side, I guess we can now roll into Hermes with our boards and expect superior service while we window shop for all the shit we will never buy?
Will we be able to check out the concave on that Hermes deck without having to wear white gloves?
