The least we could say about our first Jacker Tattoo Day is that it was a massive success. Around 400 people according to local authorities (a million according to the organisers) came to the Jacker Workshop on the 16th of July for a day where Hip Hop and Tattoo walked side by side. The tattoo studios from Stencil Draws and Runthings Tattoo converted our offices into a tattooing saloon with flash tattoos inspired from the magazine and brand. An indelible mark of our best logos and designs went under the skin of the luckiest ones. In front of our shop, the afternoon ambiance was an out-of-the-ordinary open mic and an i-dont-know-how-many-hours long dj set by the untouchable Dj Rolxx. It was then Le Traitement that opened up the concert followed by Emtooci a.k.a Tekilla and Lost which as usual, did way above their job. Once the sun went down, it was Nedoua who took over the mic and earthquaked the neighborhood with his brand new album “Fuck That” with Melan, Lacraps and the young female rapper Starline. A memorable block party where few mash pits may have damaged some. One thing is for sure, we will do it again. Even if cops and neighbours weren’t ready for this, we are not the kind to be impressed by this sort of details.
